TS Alert - Trading Standards Newsletter

Alert message sent 15/04/2022 10:32:00

Information sent on behalf of Trading Standards

In this edition of our newsletter we highlight impersonation scams, remote access scams and the latest phishing emails we have come across.

It is also worth reading our Nil By Mouth article - this campaign is raising awareness among parents and carers about potential hazards to children associated with swallowing small magnets, button batteries, loose/small toy parts and imitation food.

I'm sure most of you would have read in the press about the Kinder recall - it is essential you check the chocolate you've bought for yourself (we wont judge!) or for children, and don't eat affected products.

You can read the newsletter here or by copying and pasting this url into your browser:

We would like to wish you all a Happy Easter, but remember the scammers don't stop for bank holidays so be sure to keep your guard up!
