NEW SERVICE FOR YOU - NHW KNOWLEDGE HUB

Alert message sent 09/09/2021 17:01:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Coordinator
I am really delighted to be able to give you early advice of the introduction of the Neighbourhood Watch Knowledge Hub.

This new online facility contains a wide range of useful resources for NW volunteers all in one place, including induction and training information, downloadable materials, and Forums where volunteers can talk to those in similar roles in other areas. Clearly The Hub will be most helpful to newer coordinators, but there will be something there of value to all scheme leaders, so please sign up when invited.

In the past I have encouraged coordinators to talk together in local groups about matters of common interest. The Hub Forums can take over this valuable communication role in future, enabling experienced coordinators to pass on advice more easily to newer members.

You will soon get an invitation to sign up to join The Hub, and I strongly urge all coordinators to do this - although it is obviously voluntary. From my own experience, this new facility is a major step forward for Neighbourhood Watch, and a very positive development from our hard-working colleagues in the National office.

Please just get in touch if you have any questions, and look out for more details on The Knowledge Hub soon!

Kind regards
David
