Appeal for witnesses following burglary in Newbury

Alert message sent 02/09/2021 16:43:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Between Sunday 29 August and Wednesday 1 September, windows at the back of a house in Speen Lane were smashed and three individuals have entered the property and stolen items from within.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area between these dates to come forward.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area and could have dash-cam footage or anyone living locally with CCTV or doorbell cameras as these could provide information that could be vital to this investigation.

If you have any information, please get in touch using our online form or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43210392766. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.

We understand that a burglary near your home can be alarming. For practical steps on how to reduce your risk of falling victim to burglary, take a look at our online Home Security Guide.
