Scam Alerts
PSCO Ahmed Mohamed  said that bogus text messages claiming to be a security check are being sent out of the blue by fraudsters.
The messages say: “A payment was attempted from a NEW DEVICE on 30/04. If this was NOT you, please visit [a link].”
He said the message is an attempt to trick victims into handing over their bank details.
Do not click the link, instead, contact the bank directly and verify any security issues with them
