Two attempted burglaries in Oxford

The first incident occurred in Tree Lane, Rosehill & Iffley at approximately 2:55am on Saturday (18/7)
The offender forced a side gate open to gain entry to the rear of the property which disturbed the occupant and the offender left the scene. The occupant called the police immediately.

The second incident occurred in Courtland Road, Rosehill & Iffley at approximately 3:45am on Saturday (18/7).
The offender forced the front door open to gain entry to the property. The occupant of the property was woken by the noise and got up which disturbed the offender who left the scene.

A 34year old man from Hemel Hamstead was arrested. The suspect has been given bail conditions with a live and sleep curfew in Hertfordshire.
