SCAM EMAIL ALERT

Alert message sent 26/06/2020 15:06:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

If you are a Netflix subscriber please be aware that there are a number of emails going out saying your payment has failed and also requesting that you update your address emails - these aren’t from Netflix.
Lots of people also reporting fake emails about Netflix, TV licence, Vodaphone, EE to name a few.
Delete the emails and block the senders. Sadly some people will think they are genuine.
The number of phishing emails has increased enormously during the COVID pandemic.
Please report to https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/" target="_blank">https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/ if you think you have been scammed.
Please check out https://www.getsafeonline.org/" target="_blank">https://www.getsafeonline.org/ for more information and advice.
