Appeal for witnesses following robbery in Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Oxford.

At around 8.30pm on Saturday (13/4) the victim, a 29-year-old man, was assaulted by a group of four offenders in Beckett Street. The altercation moved outside Domino’s Pizza in Frideswide Square where the victim was assaulted again with a metal object. The offenders left towards the rear of the Said Business School. 

During the assault the victim’s black leather rucksack was stolen. The victim sustained injuries to his face and hands. He attended the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
