Sharing Crime Prevention adivce with your watch area

Alert message sent 07/11/2018 11:57:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Co-Ordinators,

Thames Valley Police are currently running a campaign to raise awareness about burglary prevention now that winter is drawing in and the nights are getting longer.

To help do this we are hoping to spread flyers door to door and posters in communal places. We would like to ask our Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators if they would be able to put up posters in their local area and to give some burglary prevention leaflets to their neighbours.

We would also ask you to keep an eye on your neighbours’ houses and if you see any in the dark to leave a note reminding them of house security.

If you would be willing to do this please could you collect the posters from the front counter of Loddon Valley Police Station on Rushey Way, Lower Earley.

I have also attached some useful documents for securing your home

Kind regards,
