Bank fraud advice

Fraudsters purporting to be from your bank can be convincing, but your bank will NEVER –

 

  1. Call or email to ask you for your full Pin or any online banking passwords.
  2. Send someone to your home to collect cash, bank cards or anything else.
  3. Ask you to authorise the transfer of funds to a new account.
  4. Ask you to hand over cash to an unknown person.
  5. Ask you to carry out a ‘test transaction online.
  6. Send an email with a link to a website that asks you to enter your online banking details.
  7. Ask you to email or text personal or banking information.
