Injuries to livestock - Great Missenden and surrounding areas

Alert message sent 03/10/2016 16:24:00

Information sent on behalf of Thames Valley Police

We have recently received reports of injuries to livestock in the local area caused by a dog or dogs.

We would like to remind dog owners/walker to ensure your dog/s is kept under control at all times. Please keep your dog/s on a lead in rural areas, including fields, especially where livestock is kept.

Ensure that your dog does not wander/run off and is kept within eyesight at all times to prevent any incidents to livestock. Failure to do so could mean that you are committing an offence.

If you have any information, please contact us via the 24-hour non-emergency Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced and you will not go to court.
